In Los Angeles, CA here and I’m seeing delays in payments on our biologic claims about 20% of the time, as it relates to our commercial payors, namely Blue Shield FEP, which can adversely impact our revenue cycle management.
How many of you know that you can reach out to your biologic vendors and ask them to extend the terms to 90-120 day terms, during the pandemic? I’m even asking them to still give us the forfeited cash discount, which they’ve been doing!
